The Furniture Collective
Process

One accountable lane, brief to install.

We turn a furniture list into a sourced, costed, quality-checked package — and keep one trail across specification, vendor comparison, prototype, QC, PO readiness and delivery. Here is how a project moves through us.

  1. 01Brief & BOQ
  2. 02Specification
  3. 03Sourcing Lanes
  4. 04Quotes & Comparison
  5. 05Prototype & QC
  6. 06PO & Payment
  7. 07Delivery & Install
The sequence

Seven steps, one trail.

Each step hands the next a clean input — so nothing is re-specified, re-quoted or re-checked further down the line.

  1. 01

    Brief & BOQ

We take in the project brief, furniture list and drawings, and structure them into a requirement schedule.

  2. 02

    Specification

Each line is specified — material, dimension, finish and reference — so vendors quote like for like.

  3. 03

    Sourcing Lanes

We open the India-first lane for urgent windows and hold a China / Foshan benchmark for volume and future phases.

  4. 04

    Quotes & Comparison

Vendor quotes are normalised for unit cost, GST, delivery, installation, lead time and warranty before comparison.

  5. 05

    Prototype & QC

Custom lines are prototyped and every order is quality-checked against the spec before it leaves the floor.

  6. 06

    PO & Payment

We prepare the order for PO release and onboard the awarded vendor for a clean payment and dispatch trail.

  7. 07

    Delivery & Install

Delivery is coordinated to the site window, with installation support to hand over a complete setting.

Two lanes

India-first, China-benchmarked.

We run a lead lane and hold a benchmark — so speed and cost are always weighed against each other rather than assumed.

Lead lane~4-week window

India-first

Our default execution lane, run out of Bangalore for urgent and standard project demand. Closer vendors, shorter freight and tighter feedback loops on prototype and QC.

  • Bangalore execution
  • Faster turnaround
  • Closer QC oversight
BenchmarkVolume & future phases

China / Foshan

Held as a reference for larger volumes and future phases. We benchmark cost and capacity against it so the India-first number is always tested against the global floor.

  • Volume capacity
  • Cost benchmark
  • Phase-two ready
Prototype + QC

What we check before dispatch.

Custom lines are prototyped and signed off before the order is released. Every order — catalogue or custom — is checked against its specification before it leaves the floor.

Prototype approved against the drawing
Materials match the specified finish
Dimensions confirmed to tolerance
Joints, seams and hardware inspected
Upholstery and surface QC signed off
Packing checked for transit to site
